Corewell Health West Michigan Internal Medicine Residency Program is seeking to add an Internal Medicine Physician provider dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care to their team. As an Internal Medicine Physician at Corewell Health West, you will play a crucial role in our residency program, providing comprehensive care to patients and mentoring the next generation of physicians. You will help lead a diverse group of 55 resident physicians (39 Internal Medicine, 16 Medicine-Pediatric Residents) in an outpatient setting.
Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
- Supervising and teaching residents and medical students.
- Participating in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Engaging in continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.

Qualifications
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree
- BE/BC Family/Internal Medicine
- PGY4 Chief Resident Year
- Prior experience in an academic institution
- Minimum of 2 years of graduate medical education clinical teaching experience
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
