Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive health histories and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions commonly seen in an urgent care setting.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and other relevant procedures to support clinical decision-making.
Treatment Planning and Patient Care
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and urgent concerns.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions in alignment with current practice standards.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and health maintenance strategies.
Team Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Consult with specialty providers and refer patients when appropriate to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of care across urgent care, primary care, and specialty services.
Clinic Operations & Community Engagement
- Provide care in a high-acuity urgent care environment with enthusiasm, compassion, and efficiency.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinic growth and performance goals.
